How much for shipping?

Netherlands and Belgium: € 6.95. Free shipping if your order sum is above € 250. In Europe €15.95. Shipping costs for the US and Canada € 35, depending on weight and volume. The final shipping costs are shown during the ordering process. Minimum order amount for European orders (except the Benelux and Germany) are € 50, for outside of Europe €95.

How can I track my order?

As soon as your order is processed, you will receive your track & trace code. It may be that the package has not yet left our warehouse at that time. But usually you can follow the package the same day. Do you order on Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday? Then you will receive the confirmation email with the tracking code on Monday or Tuesday. Nothing received? Check your spam box. It is also possible that you accidentally made a misspelling in your email address.

What about VAT?

All products in the webshop are shown without VAT. If you live in the Netherlands, 21% VAT will be added to the price, which you can reclaim from the tax authorities, provided you have a valid VAT number. Do you live within the EU and do have a valid VAT number? Then you don't pay VAT during check-out when you enter your VAT number. Do you live outside the EU? Then you do not pay VAT to us, but it is possible that customs charge your shipment with VAT.

Yes, luckily we have! And more are being added. You can now buy our henna and makeup in Belgium, United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, Sweden and soon Canada.

Which payment methods are available?

You can pay with iDeal, PayPal, Credit Card, Bancontact (for Belgian customers) and Sofortbanking (for German customers).

Where can I find my invoice?

In the email you received with the order confirmation, you will find your invoice. If you cannot find the invoice in the confirmation email, please contact webstore@mrshighbrow.com.

How can I change an order?

Once an order is placed, we are unable to make any changes to the order. Make sure that you return your order to Mrs.Highbrow unopened and make a report via webstore@mrshighbrow.com. Then fill your shopping cart with the fantastic products you actually want to have.

What should I do if I see a pending charge on my credit card statement?

Do not worry, gorgeous! We will only charge your credit card when your order ships. The transaction is not an actual charge. It is a temporary authorization hold that was created when you attempted to place your order. This authorization hold will be removed within 5 to 7 business days and the funds will be released back to your account so you can continue shopping!

I would like to become a distributor. Is that a strange thing to ask?

Not at all, dear! We love enterprising people, but it is important that you already have a solid e-commerce shop with cosmetic products and an extensive distribution channel. Does this apply to you? What is the difference between Dyōtics and Supercilium?

The difference is in the shades. Supercilium has the warmer color Golden Brown, Dyōtics the extra dark color Raven. Supercilium is accompanied by Eucalyptus Color Developer, Dyōtics must be mixed with warm water.

Why a patch test before using henna?

Because you do not want to get your customers in trouble. One of the added ingredients in brow henna is p-phenylenediamine (ppd), which can cause skin ailments even in very low quantities. That is the reason why you should always perform an allergy test on customers who are having a henna brow treatment for the first time. For the test you also use one of the dark shades (Dyotics Ash Brown or Raven or Supercilium Dark Brown). Even if you are actually planning to dye the eyebrows with a light shade.

How long will brow henna be visible?

Brow Henna colors the eyebrow hairs for 5-6 weeks, and the skin for 5-14 days. How long exactly depends on skin type (henna and oily skins are not the best friends) and lifestyle. Water, swet and cleansing products have an adverse effect on the color.

Do I have to follow a course before I can buy your henna?

It is not required to have taken a course at Mrs.Highbrow before you can order our henna. But our henna products may only be used by brow professionals, so it's important you are allready experienced in tinting with regular dye or another brand of brow henna.

How does the online course work?

Once you have ordered the course. You will receive within 2 business days an email to confirm your registration on our online learning environment. After the confirmation, you will be able to follow the online course(s). There is a test after each chapter. When you pass it, you can move on to the next chapter. Finally, there is an exam. If you have 80% of the questions right, you have succeeded. You can retake the exam as many times as you like and you can stop the theory at any time and pick up where you left the next time. After passing the exam, you will receive a certificate.

Is your henna safe?

And the answer is absolutely yes. At Mrs.Highbrow we develop products endlessly, until our own browfessor is convinced of the quality. These products are then tested by an external agency and detailed safety reports are made according to EU standards. Our henna is therefore EU certified and can be used safely. But there is always a chance that customers are allergic to henna dye. That is why it is important to first take an allergy test.

Can you use henna on pregnant women?

No. It has not been proven that it is harmful to the baby. But just like with normal hair dye, this is not recommended during pregnancy. The skin can react more sensitively under the influence of hormones, which can cause a possible allergy. During pregancy, an allergic reaction is even more distressing.

I live outside the Netherlands. Where can I follow a training?

You can follow a training in our training center in Amsterdam Duivendrecht. Are you coming from far? Combine your visit mainly with the city. Highly recommended! But there are also various academies in the United Kingdom who provided Dyotics Henna Brows courses. Check the Dyotics page for a list of academies and wholesalers.
